I remember placing my face againts the window on the University bus and making a fierce commitment to myself and to the world — I WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!! And one part of me even declared “I will change the world”. That promise has been the driving force of much of my work and also the reason why again and again I will burnt out.
Now in the second half of my century, I have learnt to make my unique contribution to the world no more, no less and do it honouring myself without sacrificing any parts of me on the way.
I am Inma
in different parts of this space you can connect with different parts of me and my work.
I have loved psychology for as long as I can remember and I dedicated over 30 years to understanding the human mind, behaviour and connection with oneself and with each-other. 15 of those years have also been dedicated to teaching others to lead personal change and change around them, aiming to make their inner and outer world a bit better. Much of my scientific work has been dedicated to understanding identities, authenticity, resilience, mindfulness. And much of my teaching and community engagement has been focused on training change agents and resilient leaders.
Over time, however, I realised that both psychology and science offer powerful insights, but they do not always reach the deepest layers of human transformation. Real change sometimes require that we involve all of us, including the right part of the brain (where creativity reside), our embodied experience and even in some cases a deeper inner part of ourselves.
Creative expression, allows us to explore and express parts of ourselves that cannot always be reached through words or analysis.
Embodied experience help us inbue the change in our cells and tap into the body memory while releasing what has been accumulating within our fascia.
The deeper parts of ourselves can be accessed through what indigenous people from different parts o f the world already knew through ancient wisdom practices. I have learnt from the Shambala tradition and formally I studied since 2015 with the Northen drum shamanic school ways of accessing deeper levels of awareness, healing and inner guidance — areas that modern science is only beginning to rediscover.
At the heart of all of this lies togetherness— the recognition that transformation rarely happens in isolation. It unfolds within relationships, communities and shared spaces of reflection. This understanding has shaped much of my work, including my community initiatives and my small book Togetherness
As a Chartered Psychologist, I offer spaces where you are met exactly where you are.
Sometimes, this begins in sanctuary—in Haven—where you can slow down, feel held, and rebuild a sense of safety and inner stability.
When the time is right, and your inner resources are stronger, we move into deeper work. Blending embodied practices, evidence-based tools, and parts work, you begin to meet life more fully—with honesty, awareness, and aliveness.
From this place, self-leadership unfolds—guiding you to take the next steps towards what you are ready to step into.
